Invitation to join the reviewer panel

The journal is building its reviewer panel across all seven research sections and invites applications from scholars and senior practitioners.

International Research Insights is building its reviewer panel and invites applications from scholars and senior practitioners in all seven research sections.

Who we are looking for

Reviewers holding a doctorate in a relevant field, or a master’s degree with published research and at least five years of professional or teaching experience. Applications are particularly welcome in nursing and public health, Hindi literary criticism, criminal and constitutional law, education policy, environmental and water studies, and from scholars based outside India.

Doctoral candidates may join as co reviewers with a supervising reviewer, which is the ordinary way of learning to review well and is treated here as part of the journal’s work rather than as a favour.

What is involved

Two to four manuscripts a year, each returned within three weeks, scored against the seven published criteria in the peer review policy, with written comments the author can act on. Reviewing is unpaid. Reviewers receive a signed certificate for each review, the decision letter and the other report on each manuscript they review, and listing with their consent in the annual acknowledgement published each December.

How to apply

The requirements and the application format are set out on the for reviewers page. Applications are answered within three weeks.
